    Air Brake SureLok - D.O.T.

    Recommended for air brake systems – compressed air connectors or suspension, steering, engine, transmission or other onboard vehicle applications. Not for fuel, oil or water. Easy to assemble, push to connect, one piece fitting. Reusable and field serviceable. Designed for strength and durability. Provides significant reduction in air system leakage. Composite fittings are up to 70 percent lighter than comparable brass fittings. Meets DOT FMVSS 571.106, SAE J113 and SAE J2494 impact resistance.

    • Internal and external machined threads for connection to ports. Machining retains collet, tube support and O-Ring.
    • Tube support prevents tube collapse during severe loading conditions.
    • Collet teeth grip the tube, holding it firmly in the fitting.
    • Internal O-Ring provides a seal and necessary interference between tube and fitting body.
